Based in Chicago, IL

I’m an Applied AI Designer.

I build AI systems that work for people and study why they fail when they don’t.
My work spans mechanistic interpretability, responsible AI evaluation,
and human-centered product design, with a focus on communities
that existing systems underserve.

Currently with Anthropic and Northwestern Medicine.
Previously with Microsoft.

AI systems don’t fail randomly. They fail by design, at every scale.

At the model level

I study how demographic identity gets encoded and distorted in ways behavioral benchmarks never catch.

At the institutional level

I design tools that help augment people’s ability make better decisions with AI, not just automate faster ones.

At the community level

I build with communities that existing systems were never designed to serve.
